AI Photo Booth Pro Alternative for 360 Video Booths

AI Photo Booth Pro, from Activation King LLC, is the AI first end of this market. On their pricing page, checked on 28 August 2026, the plans are $49, $79 and $149 a month (list prices $69, $99 and $199), from $41 a month billed annually, with two devices included and extra device licences from $39 to $119 a month. AI credits cost $0.025 each and an image consumes between 1 and 55 of them depending on the mode.

That second meter is the reason operators start comparing. Snap360App is 24,99 € a month, one price, unlimited events, on iOS and Android.

AI Credits Are a Second Meter

Their credit system is transparent and cheap per unit, and we want to be precise about it because the headline number is genuinely low. A credit is $0.025. A simple image can cost one credit. An AI video can cost up to 55.

At 55 credits, that is about $1.38 of credits for a single piece of content, on top of the subscription. Run 200 guests through an AI video activation and the credits alone can pass the monthly plan. The fee is published, so nobody is hiding it, but your software cost moves with attendance, which is the opposite of how most operators quote a wedding.

  • Plans: $49, $79 and $149 a month, from $41 a month annually (checked 28 August 2026).
  • Two devices included, extra licences $39 to $119 a month per device.
  • AI credits: $0.025 each, 1 to 55 per image depending on the mode.
  • Snap360App: 24,99 € a month, or 239,99 € a year, unlimited events, no per event or per guest fee.

Zero Ratings in Both Stores, and Why That Matters at 11 pm

On 28 August 2026 the app had no ratings on the App Store and none published on Google Play. That is what a new product looks like, and everybody starts there, ourselves included.

It still deserves a mention, because the thing you are buying is reliability under pressure: a full dance floor, a queue, weak venue wifi, one tablet. There is no installed base yet to tell you how it behaves in that moment. If you try it, run a full dress rehearsal at home with the same tablet, the same mount and airplane mode on, before you put it in front of a paying client.

Multiplatform Is Their Real Strength

Credit where it is due: this is one of the few products in the sector that ships on Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android at once. If your fleet is genuinely mixed, or if you want one app for a Windows kiosk and an Android tablet, that coverage is hard to match.

Snap360App covers iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later for the video module, with the photo module on iPad in beta and Windows still in development. There is no Windows build to claim yet. For a 360 spinner, where the camera is a phone or a GoPro on an arm, tablet coverage is the coverage that matters.

The AI Hook and the 360 Job Are Not the Same Sale

Activation King sells on AI: over 120 effects and face swap included in every plan, plus a mosaic wall and an AI drawing screen as separate products. Their booth does include a 360 video mode among all the booth modes, so this is not a case of one product having 360 and the other not.

The question is what you are being sold. Their commercial hook is AI portraits and face swap, and the pricing follows the AI. If your client books you for a spinner and a fifteen second vertical video, you are paying for a credit economy you barely use. Snap360App puts the spinner first: slow motion, overlays, music, intros and outros, GoPro capture and offline recording, with AI frames included rather than metered per guest.

Their Rental Marketplace Is a Genuine Extra

Activation King runs its own rental marketplace to bring clients to operators who use the software. Lead generation attached to a licence is a real argument, and it is worth weighing if you are starting from zero in the United States.

Snap360App has no marketplace. What it sells is the app that runs the booth; the leads you build with your own brand take longer to arrive and still belong to you three years from now.

Snap360App vs AI Photo Booth Pro, Side by Side

Every figure in the right hand column comes from Activation King's own pricing page, checked on 28 August 2026, and anything they do not publish is marked as such.

Stay With AI Photo Booth Pro If

Stay if AI is what your clients actually buy. If you sell branded AI portraits and face swap as the headline attraction, and your events are corporate activations where the client pays per guest anyway, their credit model matches how you invoice and the effect library is deeper than the one in Snap360App.

Switch if the spinner pays your bills, if you want a fixed monthly cost you can quote against, or if extra device licences at $39 to $119 a month are the line that stops you buying a second machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does AI Photo Booth Pro Cost?

Checked on their pricing page on 28 August 2026: $49, $79 and $149 a month, against list prices of $69, $99 and $199, and from $41 a month on annual billing. Two devices are included in every plan and extra device licences run from $39 to $119 a month. AI credits are billed on top at $0.025 each.

How Do the AI Credits Actually Add Up?

A credit is $0.025 and an image uses between 1 and 55 credits depending on the mode. At the top of that range an AI video costs around $1.38 in credits. At a 200 guest event, credits can exceed the monthly subscription, so your software cost moves with attendance instead of staying fixed.

Does AI Photo Booth Pro Do 360?

Yes. Their booth modes include a 360 video booth. The difference is emphasis: their commercial hook and their pricing are built around AI effects and face swap, while Snap360App is built around the spinner, with slow motion, overlays, GoPro capture and offline recording as the main workflow.

Is a New App Safe to Use at a Paid Event?

It can be, but test it first. As of 28 August 2026 there were no ratings on either store, so there is no track record to lean on. Do a full rehearsal with your own tablet, your own mount and airplane mode on before you put any new app in front of a paying client.

Which Is Cheaper Over a Year?

Snap360App PLAN PRO is 239,99 € a year, roughly 20 € a month, with unlimited events and no credit meter. AI Photo Booth Pro starts at $41 a month annually, so around $492 a year on the entry plan, plus AI credits and plus any extra device licences.

Can I Try Both Before Deciding?

Yes, and you should. They publish a 14 day trial with all features unlocked. Snap360App has a free trial at snap360app.com with every feature active and a watermark on the videos until you subscribe, no card required. Run the same event twice, once on each.

Is AI Photo Booth Pro a Good AI Photo Booth for Trade Shows With Virtual Props?

Yes, that is its home ground: an AI photo booth for trade show stands, with over 120 effects, face swap and virtual props generated per guest, priced on credits at $0.025 each. If the stand also has a spinner, Snap360App runs the 360 side at a fixed 24,99 € a month while the portrait station keeps its own meter.

What Does an AI Photo Booth Machine Cost With This Software?

The software is only part of the AI photo booth machine price. AI Photo Booth Pro is $49 to $149 a month plus credits, and the machine itself, a tablet or PC, a stand and a light, is a separate purchase whose cost depends on the hardware you pick. The software line is the one you can fix in advance, and Snap360App fixes it at 24,99 € a month with unlimited events.
