Android Photo Booth App: 360 Video and Glambot on Any Android
Most professional booth apps are iOS only, which means every extra machine costs another iPad. Snap360 is an Android photo booth app too: 360 video and glambot run on Android phones and tablets with the same account you use on iPhone or iPad, and the video is ready in 10 seconds.
This page says plainly what runs on Android, what does not, and why that matters for your second booth.
What Runs on Android
On Android, Snap360 covers the video side of the business:
- 360 video booth: the slow-motion spin on your platform, with overlays, music and QR delivery.
- Glambot: the robotic-arm pass with speed curve, intro and outro, ready in 10 seconds.
- AI frames and your own music, like on iOS.
- Offline recording with upload when the signal returns.
- One account shared with your iPhone, iPad and Windows devices.
What Does Not Run on Android, and What to Use Instead
The photo booth with prints, the SnapPhoto module, runs on iPad and iPhone, and will run on Windows PC for mirrors and column booths once SnapPhoto for Windows is released (it is on its launch list). If prints are your product, see the iPad photo booth app or the photo booth software for Windows.
Saying this clearly saves you a tablet bought for the wrong job.
Why Android Changes the Margin of the Second Booth
A second 360 platform needs a second device. On iOS that is another iPad; on Android a mid-range tablet does the same job for a fraction of the price, and the account is the same. For an operator growing from one booth to three, that is the difference between a profitable first season and a tight one.
The 360 platform and the overhead 360 we build in Seville both ship with a holder that takes an Android phone, a GoPro or an iPhone.
