A Booth.Events Alternative That Does Not Bill You per iPad
Booth.Events is built by Solodigitalis in Canada and it is a genuinely well made iPad app: 4.8 from 917 ratings on the App Store, external DSLR or mirrorless over USB, printing, browser based setup. Pricing is $40 a month or $349 a year, AI credits are $8 per 100, and additional iPads are a paid add-on. Checked on their own pricing page on 28 August 2026.
The friction shows up when you scale, and when the machine you want to run is a spinner rather than a print booth. Snap360App bills one subscription, runs on Android as well as iOS, and includes unlimited events.

What Booth.Events Gets Right
Start with the credit where it is due, because a 4.8 average across 917 ratings is not an accident. The app pulls a DSLR or mirrorless body into an iPad over USB, which gives you real image quality without a laptop in the booth. It prints. It configures from a browser, so you can set up an event from a desk instead of crouching over a tablet.
It also talks to hardware other apps ignore: Bluetooth support for ATA, Danny Max and Mobibooth shells, plus SP-110E, 630E and 107E LED controllers. If your shell is one of those, that integration is worth money.
The Second iPad Problem
Billing is per device, and extra iPads are a paid add-on. One booth, one bill, no issue. The maths changes the day you take two bookings on the same Saturday.
At that point the comparison is two Booth.Events device licences against a single Snap360App subscription, and DIAMOND PRO at 36,99 € a month covers several devices on one account. Growth should make your cost per event fall, not track your device count upward.
AI Credits at $8 per 100
AI credits are sold in packs at $8 per 100. It is transparent pricing and nobody is hiding it, but metered extras behave the same way everywhere: cheap when you test them, a line item when guests actually like the feature and you leave it switched on at every event.
Snap360App includes AI generated frame credits in the plan, and DIAMOND PRO raises the allowance. You are not doing arithmetic in the middle of a wedding to decide whether the AI frame is worth $0.08 to a guest.
The 360 Gap
Booth.Events does not publish a 360 spinner mode of its own. That is simply what it was built for: iPad photo booths with prints and a DSLR.
A spinner is a different job. The camera orbits, the guest stands still, the output is a fifteen second vertical video with slow motion and a ramp, and the value is how fast it reaches the guest phone. Snap360App was built at that starting point, works with GoPro cameras and any spinner platform, and records offline when the venue wifi gives up.
Snap360App vs Booth.Events, Side by Side
Booth.Events figures checked on their own pricing page on 28 August 2026. Snap360App costs 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year (19,99 € a month) on PLAN PRO, and 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year on DIAMOND PRO with several devices and 15 GB of cloud. The web checkout is cheaper than the App Store, where PRO is 29,99 €.
Who Should Stay With Booth.Events
Stay if you run iPad print booths in Canada or the United States, your shells are ATA, Danny Max or Mobibooth, and you use the LED controller integrations. Replacing that with a generic app loses you real functionality and gains you a few euros a month, which is a bad trade.
Switch, or run both, if the spinner is your main product, if you want Android tablets in the fleet, or if paying per iPad has started to annoy you. Both apps are free to try, so put them on the same booth and let the output decide.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does Booth.Events Cost?
On their pricing page on 28 August 2026 it is $40 a month or $349 a year. AI credits are sold separately at $8 per 100, and additional iPads are a paid add-on on top of the base subscription. Billing is per device, so the cost scales with the size of your fleet.
Does Booth.Events Run on Android?
No. It is an iPad and iPhone app and there is no Android version. If you want to build booths around Android tablets, which cost far less than iPads at the same screen size, Booth.Events is not an option and Snap360App is.
Does Booth.Events Do 360 Video?
They do not publish a 360 spinner mode as a feature of its own. The product is positioned around iPad photo booths with printing and an external DSLR. If the spinner is what you sell, check that carefully before you subscribe.
Is Snap360App Cheaper Than Booth.Events?
At the entry point yes: 24,99 € a month, or 19,99 € a month billed yearly, against $40 a month. The gap widens with a second booth, because Booth.Events charges an add-on per extra iPad while DIAMOND PRO at 36,99 € covers several devices.
Can I Use My Own Spinner and GoPro?
Yes. Snap360App is hardware agnostic: it works with the usual 360 platforms and arms, with the phone or tablet as the camera, or with a GoPro when you want a wider frame. Nothing locks you to one manufacturer of spinner.
Will I Lose My Overlays if I Switch?
Templates and overlays do not move between booth apps in either direction. You rebuild them, which for a 360 booth means one overlay, an intro, an outro and a share screen. Set aside an afternoon and do it before the next booking, not on the day.
Is There an Unlimited Events Photo Booth Software Without per iPad Billing?
Yes. Snap360App includes unlimited events on every plan, and DIAMOND PRO at 36,99 € a month covers several devices on one account. Booth.Events bills $40 a month per iPad with additional iPads as a paid add-on, so the cost tracks the size of the fleet rather than the number of events.
