FM Booth Alternative Sold Without the Machine

FM Booth is the software from Foto Master, an Israeli manufacturer with operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, best known for its mirror booths. It runs on Windows and iPadOS, with Draw Me Bot on macOS. They do not publish a price for the software on its own, because it is sold alongside their machines (checked on their software collection page on 28 August 2026).

That is a perfectly good model if you are also buying their hardware. It is a bad one if you already own a 360 spinner and just want an app for it. Snap360App is sold as software, on its own, at 24,99 € a month.

Software That Arrives Attached to a Machine

Foto Master sells booths first. FM Booth for Windows, FM Booth for iPadOS, the Sharing Station, Photo Mosaic Wall, Digital Graffiti and Draw Me Bot are the layer that makes those machines do something. There is no public catalogue price for the software as a separate product.

For a buyer, that changes three things at once:

  • You cannot budget before you talk to sales. No published number means no comparison until a quote lands in your inbox.
  • Your app and your metal renew together. If you ever want to change one, you tend to be told to change both.
  • Second hand machines get complicated. A spinner you bought from another operator needs software that will sell you a licence without selling you a booth.

Where 180 Ends and 360 Begins

Foto Master builds the V-Motion 180, and 180 is not 360. A 180 arm sweeps in front of the guests and gives you a bullet time shot. A 360 platform puts the guests in the middle and the camera goes all the way round them.

They are different products commercially, not just technically. What sells on Instagram right now is the full orbit with the slow motion ramp, and clients ask for it by name. If your booking form says "360 photo booth", a 180 arm is going to generate a conversation you do not want to have at the venue. Foto Master does not list a 360 spinner in its catalogue, so if that is the machine you run, the software question stays open.

Snap360App vs FM Booth, Side by Side

Everything in the Foto Master column comes from their own site, checked on 28 August 2026. Where they publish nothing, the table says so instead of guessing. Snap360App is 24,99 €/month or 239,99 €/year (19,99 €/month) on PLAN PRO, and 36,99 €/month or 359,99 €/year on DIAMOND PRO, which adds simultaneous TV output, more AI frame credits, multiple devices and 15 GB of cloud.

No Android Anywhere in the Line

Windows, iPadOS, macOS. That is the whole list. There is no Android app in the Foto Master range, so the cheapest tablet on the market is not an option for you.

This matters more than it sounds. A 13 inch iPad is a real line in a booth budget, and it lives on a pole, in a van, at weddings, being handled by people who have been drinking. Plenty of operators would rather the tablet that gets dropped be the 250 € one. Snap360App runs on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later, so the hardware decision stays yours.

What 24,99 € a Month Actually Buys

The plan includes unlimited events with no per event and no per device fee, offline recording, GoPro support, AI generated frames, custom overlays, music, intros and outros, and delivery by QR, AirDrop, WhatsApp, Instagram or email, plus a web dashboard. Buy it from the web rather than the App Store: the store version is 29,99 €, so the web saves you around 17 per cent for the same product.

When Foto Master Is Still the Right Call

If you are buying a mirror booth, and you want the machine, the software, the shipping and the support on one invoice with one phone number behind it, Foto Master is a serious manufacturer with a real presence in the US, the UK and Israel. A bundle from a company that size removes a lot of small risks, and a mirror booth with a printer is a print workflow that a tablet 360 app does not replace.

Look elsewhere if your product is the spinning platform, if you want Android in the fleet, or if you want to know the software price before a sales call.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does FM Booth Run on Android?

No. Foto Master lists Windows and iPadOS for FM Booth, plus macOS for Draw Me Bot, and there is no Android app anywhere in the line (checked on their site on 28 August 2026). Snap360App runs on Android 7 or later and iOS 13 or later, so you can put a mid range Android tablet in the booth instead of a 13 inch iPad.

How Much Does FM Booth Cost?

They do not publish a standalone price. The software is sold with their machines, so the only way to get a number is to ask for a quote on the specific booth you want. For comparison, Snap360App is 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year on PLAN PRO, published on the site, no sales call needed.

Is a 180 Booth the Same as a 360 Booth?

No. A 180 arm sweeps across the front of the guests for a bullet time effect. A 360 platform circles all the way around them. Clients ask for the full orbit by name, so booking a 180 machine against a 360 request usually ends in an awkward conversation at the venue.

Can I Use Snap360App With a Mirror Booth?

It is built for 360 spinners and video booths, not for a mirror booth with a printer, which is a print led workflow. Plenty of operators run both types of machine and simply use different software on each one. The apps do not conflict.

Can I Move My Templates Across?

Overlays and frames do not transfer between photo booth apps, so you rebuild them. It is an afternoon of work, not a project. Do it the week before a booking rather than the morning of one, and export your logo files at the resolutions the new app asks for.

Is There a Free Trial of Snap360App?

Yes. Every feature is unlocked from the start at snap360app.com, the videos carry a watermark until you subscribe, and no card is required to begin. Test it on a real spinner with real guests before you decide anything.

Which 360 Photo Booth Software for iPad Is Sold Without Hardware?

Snap360App: it is sold as software on its own, from the web, at 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year, and runs on iPad and iPhone from iOS 13 and on Android tablets from Android 7. FM Booth for iPadOS is sold alongside Foto Master machines and has no published standalone price.
