Fotillo Alternative for the Event Where Nothing Prints

Almost every competitor charges you for time. A month, a year, a two day licence, a weekly plan. You pay whether you work or not, and February funds the vendor at the same rate as August.

Fotillo charges you for copies. Buy a pack of 700, 1,400 or 2,800 prints, and the codes never expire. A quiet winter costs you nothing at all. A modular configurator lets you activate only the functions you want, which is why the codes span from 6,15 € to 78,72 €. For an operator running classic print booths at a predictable volume, that is closer to a cost of goods than to a subscription, and it is easy to price into a quote.

Now put the same logic on a modern booking. A 360 platform, a phone or a GoPro on the arm, a QR code on the screen, and 180 guests who each get a fifteen second video on WhatsApp before they sit down. Prints delivered: zero.

You still needed software. You still needed overlays, music, an intro, a share flow and a dashboard. But a pay-per-print licence has nothing to bill against, and Fotillo does not publish a 360 mode, so the format that is growing fastest is the format the pricing model was not designed to serve. A flat 24,99 € a month covers a season of video-only events with no counting involved.

Fotillo runs on Windows. There is no iOS app and no Android app, and the activation code binds to a specific PC. That is fine when the booth is a shell with a machine bolted inside it and it never moves out of that shell.

It rules out the whole mobile 360 setup: a tablet on a tripod, a phone on the spinner arm, a second device as a backup you can grab from the van when the first one dies. Snap360App runs on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later, which means the expensive part of your kit can be a 200 € Android tablet rather than a laptop that has to survive being carried through a car park every Saturday.

Two things, and both matter. First, template volume: they ship thousands of their own designs, which for a small operator is weeks of design work you do not have to do. Second, local compatibility: Fotillo is built to work with most of the Polish fotobudka hardware on the market, plus a version for postcard kiosks. If you bought your shell in Poland, that fit is not a small detail.

What we would not do is run a 360 business on it. That is a different capture loop and a different delivery flow, and ViewPro does not publish a 360 mode.

If your product is a print booth, if guests walk away with a strip in their hand, if your volume is steady enough that a 2,800 copy pack lasts a season, and if you work in Poland with Polish hardware, Fotillo is a rational choice and the pay-per-print model probably costs you less than any subscription in this comparison.
