Jepreto Alternative for Operators Who Need Mobile and 360
Jepreto is Indonesian photobooth software built for self service operators. The desktop app is Rp 600,000 a month, billed monthly and cancellable at any time, and template creator accounts sit alongside it at Rp 0 for Free, Rp 10,000 a month for Pro with three premium templates and Rp 25,000 a month for Pro+ with twelve (their pricing page checked on 28 August 2026). They also run a completely free browser photobooth at jepreto.net with no watermark, which feeds the paid product.
It is a smart business. It is also Windows only, with no 360 support stated anywhere, which is where operators start looking around. Snap360App is the mobile, spinner first alternative.

Two Products, One Free Toy and One Windows App
Jepreto runs a free browser photobooth aimed at consumers, with 200,000 users and more than 100,000 templates used by their own count, and a paid Windows desktop app aimed at operators. The free product is the funnel and the paid one is the business.
That split works beautifully for acquisition in Indonesia and it is genuinely clever marketing. For a buyer it creates one problem: the thing you can try for free is not the thing you would pay for. You cannot test the operator software the way you test an app, and the free web booth tells you nothing about how the desktop app behaves at a real event.
Jepreto vs Snap360App, Side by Side
Jepreto is Rp 600,000 a month for the photobooth software, roughly 33 € at late August 2026 rates, plus optional creator accounts (their pricing page checked on 28 August 2026). Snap360App is 24,99 € a month on PLAN PRO, or 239,99 € a year, which is 19,99 € a month, and 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year on DIAMOND PRO with simultaneous TV output, more AI frame credits, several devices and 15 GB of cloud. Events are unlimited on both sides of that comparison, but only one of them fits in your pocket. Sector prices are in the photo booth price index 2026.
The Template Marketplace, and Why It Does Not Travel to 360
Jepreto's best idea is the template marketplace: creators publish frames and layouts, operators buy them, and the creators monetise through Pro and Pro+ accounts. For a printed strip business that is exactly right, because the frame is the product the guest takes home and holds.
On a spinner the guest takes home a video. What sells is the slow motion timing, the music, the intro and outro, the overlay in motion and how fast the clip reaches their phone. A library of print layouts does not transfer to that. Jepreto built for paper strips, and the marketplace shows it.
QRIS, Vouchers and the Shop Counter Business Model
Jepreto integrates QRIS and a voucher system so a booth can take cash through a counter and digital payments directly, with queueing, transactions and multiple devices managed from one dashboard. Printer support covers DNP, Epson, HiTi and Kodak.
Read that list and the customer is obvious: a fixed unattended booth in a mall or a shop, taking payments from walk-ins all day. That is the dominant photo booth business across Indonesia and much of Asia, and Jepreto serves it well. An event operator has the opposite problem. Nobody pays at the booth, the client paid weeks ago, and the software needs to travel in a car instead of holding a queue.
Windows Only, in a Business That Moves Every Weekend
The paid Jepreto product is a Windows desktop app with a web dashboard. No iOS app, no Android app. For a fixed booth that is a sensible architecture, a PC in a cabin is stable and cheap to service.
For a 360 spinner it means carrying a laptop, a power supply, a capture path and a boot sequence to every job. Snap360App runs the whole flow from a phone or tablet on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later, records offline when the venue wifi dies, and delivers by QR, AirDrop, WhatsApp, Instagram or email. There is no per event fee and no per device fee on PLAN PRO.
Who Should Stay With Jepreto
Stay if you run self service booths in Indonesia, take QRIS payments, print strips and want a template marketplace behind you. At Rp 600,000 a month with monthly cancellation and no annual lock-in, it is a fair deal for that business, and the queue plus transaction dashboard is exactly what a multi booth shop operator needs.
Switch, or add a second tool, if you run 360 at events, if you want the booth to run from a tablet, or if you need to record without internet. It is free to test with a watermark on the videos until you subscribe, so you can judge it in one weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does Jepreto Cost?
The photobooth software is Rp 600,000 a month, paid monthly and cancellable at any time, checked on their own pricing page on 28 August 2026. Template creator accounts are separate: Free at Rp 0, Pro at Rp 10,000 a month for three premium templates and Pro+ at Rp 25,000 a month for twelve. Their browser photobooth at jepreto.net is free with no watermark.
Does Jepreto Run on Android or iPad?
The paid operator product is a Windows desktop app with a cloud dashboard, and they list no iOS or Android app. Their free consumer photobooth runs in a browser, so it works on a phone, but that is a different product from the software you would run a business on. For a tablet driven 360 booth you need something built for mobile.
Does Jepreto Support 360 Booths?
Their site does not state 360 support, so we list it as not stated rather than as a no. Everything they publish points at fixed self service booths: queueing, QRIS payments, vouchers, print templates and support for DNP, Epson, HiTi and Kodak printers. If 360 is your product, ask them directly before subscribing.
Can I Move My Templates to Snap360App?
Print layouts do not carry across, because a spinner outputs vertical video rather than a paper strip. What does carry across is your branding: logo, colours, fonts and event look, rebuilt as overlays, intros and outros in Snap360App, with AI generated frames if you want them. Budget an evening to rebuild your two or three best designs.
Do I Need Internet at the Event?
Not with Snap360App. Recording works offline and sharing happens afterwards, which is what saves you in venues where the wifi dies once the room fills. Jepreto publishes nothing about offline operation, so if you are considering it for mobile work, that is the first question to ask their team.
Which Is Better for a 360 Booth?
For 360 we would run Snap360App. It is spinner first, runs on Android and iOS, supports GoPro, records offline and costs 24,99 € a month with unlimited events. For a QRIS self service booth printing strips in Indonesia, buy Jepreto: that is the job it was written for.
Is There a Free 360 Photo Booth Software?
Not one you could run a paid event on. Jepreto's free product is a browser photobooth for consumers, with no spinner mode, and their operator software costs Rp 600,000 a month. Snap360App has no free plan either, but the trial keeps every feature unlocked with a watermark on the videos until you subscribe, no card required, so you can test a full 360 event at zero cost before paying 24,99 € a month.
Is Jepreto a Self Service Booth Application?
Yes, that is exactly what it is: a Windows app for unattended booths with QRIS payment, cash vouchers, queueing and a transaction dashboard for several devices. Snap360App is the opposite kind of tool, an event photo booth app for booked jobs where the client has already paid, so it has no in booth payment at all.
