Pixture Alternative: Per Booth Pricing vs One Flat Monthly
Pixture is one of the better built products to come out of the Indonesian self photo studio boom. There is a permanently free plan with one booth included, and the paid plan is $25 per booth per month billed annually, which is $300 a year per booth, with a stated 37% saving against monthly billing (their monthly figure is not published on the page we read, checked on 28 August 2026). It runs on Windows and macOS with a web dashboard and a mobile monitoring app. If your booths multiply, so does the bill.

Pixture Is Genuinely Good at the Job It Chose
Pixture earns its praise. Cloud management across multiple booths with template and branding pushes in real time, a Template Editor that autodetects the photo slots in a PNG, a drag and drop UI Editor that turns a design into an interactive kiosk, Booth Health showing connectivity, camera, printer, paper, memory and temperature, plus QRIS payment at the booth with vouchers and per booth revenue reporting.
They publish 274 registered booths across 9 countries, 49,233 sessions and 99.98% uptime as of August 2026, figures that come from the vendor. Booth Health in particular is the kind of feature that only exists when a company has actually run unattended machines and been called at midnight about a paper jam.
The Per Booth Maths, and When It Turns
At $25 per booth per month billed yearly, one booth costs $300 a year. Two booths cost $600. Five cost $1,500. The model is honest and it scales linearly with your fleet, which is fair for fixed installations that each generate their own revenue stream.
It reads differently for an events operator. A spinner and a photo booth working the same wedding are two devices, so the same event pays twice. Snap360App bills per account rather than per booth, PLAN PRO covering one device and DIAMOND PRO covering multiple at 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year, so a second machine does not automatically double the software line. Run your own numbers, because at one single booth the Pixture free plan is genuinely free and hard to argue with.

Snap360App vs Pixture, Side by Side
Third party prices checked on their own pricing pages on 28 August 2026. Snap360App costs 24,99 €/month or 239,99 €/year (19,99 €/month) on PLAN PRO, and 36,99 €/month or 359,99 €/year on DIAMOND PRO.
Canon Only Tethering and No iPad
Two constraints decide this comparison for most events operators, and Pixture is upfront about both. Tethering works with Canon, and they acknowledge that Nikon and Sony are not covered, which rules out a large slice of the cameras already sitting in event kits. There is also no iPad version, confirmed by the maker, and no iOS or Android capture app, so every booth needs a computer.
For a mall installation that computer lives inside the cabinet and nobody ever sees it. For a booth that gets loaded into a car at eight and set up at nine, it is another box, another power supply and another thing to blame when the client is watching.
Their 360 Is a Format, Not the Product
Pixture does list 360 as one of the event formats inside its Event mode, alongside roaming booth, video booth and glambooth, so the mode exists. It is positioned as one option in a self-service first product, which shows in what is not there: no slow motion, no overlays and no music built around a spinner as a selling point.
This is the pattern across the whole Asian market. We inventoried thirty photo booth apps across the region and none is 360 first. They are excellent at the fixed store booth with QRIS payment, which is where the money is locally, and a 360 mode gets added as a checkbox. If the spinner is your main product rather than a format you occasionally offer, that difference shows up in every clip you deliver.
Stay With Pixture if Your Booths Stand Still
Keep Pixture if you run self photo studios in fixed locations, if you shoot Canon, if you want QRIS payment and voucher handling built in, and if Booth Health across a fleet is worth real money to you. For that business it is a stronger product than a spinner app, and the free tier means you can run one location at zero software cost.
Add or switch to a 360 first app when the spinner becomes the thing clients book, when you want capture on a tablet instead of a PC, or when your cameras are not Canon.
Our Recommendation
Every Pixture number above comes from their pricing page and their own published metrics on 28 August 2026, including the ones that make them look good, because a comparison that hides those is worthless to you and to us.
For the 360 side, Snap360App is 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year with unlimited events and no per event fee, runs on iOS 13 and Android 7 or later, records offline, works with GoPro, and delivers by QR, AirDrop, WhatsApp, Instagram or email. The trial unlocks everything with a watermark on the videos and needs no card, so you can shoot a real event on it and compare the output against what you deliver today.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does Pixture Cost?
There is a permanently free plan that includes one booth, and the paid plan is $25 per booth per month billed annually, which is $300 a year per booth. They state a 37% saving against monthly billing but the exact monthly figure was not published on the page we read on 28 August 2026.
Does Pixture Run on an iPad?
No. The maker confirms there is no iPad version, and there is no iOS or Android capture app. It runs on Windows and macOS with a web dashboard and a mobile app for monitoring only, so every booth needs a computer attached to it.
Does Pixture Support 360 Photo Booths?
Yes, 360 is listed as one of the formats inside its Event mode, along with roaming booth, video booth and glambooth. It is a format within a self-service first product rather than the core, so compare the finished clip against a spinner focused app before deciding.
Which Cameras Work With Pixture?
Tethering is Canon only. They acknowledge that Nikon and Sony are not supported, which matters if your event kit is built around either. Snap360App sidesteps the question because it captures with the phone, tablet or a GoPro rather than a tethered DSLR.
Is Per Booth Pricing Cheaper Than a Flat Monthly?
At one booth, the Pixture free plan is cheaper than anything. From two or three machines the per booth model climbs while a per account subscription does not, so the answer flips depending on fleet size. Count your devices, not your locations, since a spinner and a photo booth at the same wedding are two.
Can I Switch Without Losing My Templates?
Templates do not transfer between photo booth apps, so you rebuild them. For 360 that is a lighter job than for print, since the overlay is a vertical video frame rather than a multi slot print layout, and Snap360App can also generate frames with AI. Pricing and features are on snap360app.com.
Is Pixture Good Photo Booth Software for Weddings?
It is built for fixed self photo studios: QRIS payment, Booth Health and per booth reporting, on Windows or macOS with Canon tethering. For weddings you need photo booth software that travels: a tablet on the arm, offline recording when the venue wifi folds and delivery to guest phones. That is the Snap360App side, at 24,99 € a month with unlimited events.
