Studio Photuna Alternative for 360 Spinner Operators
Studio Photuna is Windows 10 and 11 software for operators running Korean style photo booths with a DSLR and a dye sublimation printer. There is a single Pro subscription with no paid modules and no per event fee, and a real 14 day free trial with no card. The amount, however, is not published: their pricing page returned empty content when we checked it on 28 August 2026, and the about page returns a 404, so we cannot tell you what it costs or which country the company is in.
The product itself sounds well designed for the booth it targets. It just is not a 360 product, and the missing information matters before you attach a business to it. Snap360App is the spinner first alternative with the price on the page.
Start the free trial: every feature unlocked, watermark on the videos until you subscribe, no card required.
An Empty Pricing Page Is Its Own Answer
On 28 August 2026 the Studio Photuna pricing page loaded with no content, and the about page returned a 404. That leaves an operator with a subscription product, a 14 day trial and no way to know the monthly cost, the company name or the country before signing up.
This might simply be a broken deploy, and it may be fixed by the time you read this. Check it yourself. But the reason it matters is practical rather than moral: your booth software is a supplier relationship. Before you build weekends around it you want to know who you are paying, in which jurisdiction, and how much when the trial ends. Ask them by email and get the answer in writing.
Studio Photuna vs Snap360App, Side by Side
We can only compare on what is published, and Studio Photuna publish no figure (page checked on 28 August 2026), so the price row says so. Snap360App is 24,99 € a month on PLAN PRO, or 239,99 € a year, which is 19,99 € a month, and 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year on DIAMOND PRO with simultaneous TV output, more AI frame credits, multiple devices and 15 GB of cloud storage. Unlimited events on every plan, no per event fee. Sector prices are in the photo booth price index 2026.
Korean Style Booths Are a Different Business
The Korean self photo studio model is a room full of booths where people pay, shoot, choose a frame and walk out with a printed strip, all without staff. It has spread far beyond Korea and it is a strong business with predictable daily revenue and low labour cost.
Studio Photuna targets that model precisely: event setup, template design, guest flow, printing, QR delivery and reporting in one install. Event 360 is the opposite shape. One client, one date, a van, a spinner, and a product that is a vertical video rather than a paper strip. Software built for a room of cabins is not going to be the right tool for a Saturday night wedding, and it is not trying to be.
What They Do Well, Said Plainly
Three things in their feature list are genuinely good and worth copying:
- No proprietary kiosk. It works with the PC, the DSLR and the dye sublimation printer you already own, so you are not locked into hardware they sell.
- It survives a wifi drop. They state the booth keeps capturing and printing when the venue connection goes down, which is exactly the right design decision.
- One subscription, no modules. A single Pro plan with no per event fee and no add-on tariffs beats the industry habit of billing sharing, AI and cloud separately.
- A 14 day trial with no card. Long enough to run a real event before deciding, and cancellable at any time.
Windows Today, Android and iPad "Coming Soon"
Studio Photuna runs on Windows 10 and 11, with Android and iPad announced as coming. Announced is not shipped, and no operator should plan a season around a roadmap slide.
Snap360App ships the mobile side today: the video module runs on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later, which is what a spinner needs. We hold ourselves to the same standard we are applying here, so to be explicit, our photo module is in beta on iPad and our Windows version is still in development. Do not buy either of those on a promise, from us or from them.
Nobody in Asia Is Building 360 First
We inventoried 30 photo booth software makers across Asia in August 2026. Not one of them is 360 first, Studio Photuna included, since they describe their product as a Korean style cabin flow with a DSLR and a sublimation printer.
The money in the region is in fixed self service cabins with QR payments, and these companies built for the market in front of them. It does mean that an operator anywhere in Asia who wants to run event spinners has no local Korean photobooth software to lean on, and has to look at products built for a different market.
Who Should Stay With Studio Photuna
Stay if you are opening or running a Korean style self photo studio, you already own the PC, the DSLR and the sublimation printer, and you want one subscription covering event setup, templates, printing, QR delivery and revenue reporting. Their rental mode with a payment terminal inside the guest flow fits that business, and the 14 day trial costs you nothing to verify. Just get the price in writing first.
Look elsewhere if 360 video is the product you sell, if you need the booth to run from a tablet this season rather than next, or if you want a supplier whose company details and pricing are public before you subscribe.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Does Studio Photuna Cost?
They do not say. There is a single Pro subscription with no paid modules and no per event fee, but the pricing page returned empty content when we checked it on 28 August 2026, so there is no figure to quote. We will not invent one. Email them for the amount in writing before the 14 day trial runs out.
Does Studio Photuna Support 360 Photo Booths?
No. They describe a Korean style cabin flow built around a DSLR and a dye sublimation printer, from event setup through template design, guest flow, printing and QR delivery. There is no spinner control, no slow motion and no vertical video pipeline, which is what 360 work actually needs.
Does It Run on Android or iPad?
Not yet. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, with Android and iPad listed as coming. Snap360App runs its video module on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later today. To be equally straight about our own gaps, our photo module is in beta on iPad and our Windows version is still in development.
What Happens if the Venue Wifi Fails?
Studio Photuna state the booth keeps capturing and printing when the local wifi goes down, which is the right design and worth acknowledging. Snap360App records offline as well and shares afterwards by QR, AirDrop, WhatsApp, Instagram or email. Either way, treat offline capability as a requirement rather than a bonus.
Is a 14 Day Trial Long Enough?
Yes, if you use it on a real booking rather than at your desk. Fourteen days with no card covers a weekend event, which is where booth software actually shows its problems. Snap360App takes a different route: every feature stays unlocked with a watermark on the videos until you subscribe, so there is no clock at all.
Which Is Better for a 360 Booth?
For 360 we would run Snap360App. It is spinner first, runs on Android and iOS, records offline, supports GoPro, generates AI frames and costs 24,99 € a month with unlimited events. For a Korean style printed strip studio, Studio Photuna is the product aimed at that shop.
Is There 360 Photo Booth Software for iPad?
Yes. Snap360App runs its 360 video module on iPadOS and iOS 13 or later, and on Android 7 or later, so an iPad on the arm is a complete rig. Studio Photuna lists iPad and Android as coming, and until they ship it stays a Windows 10 and 11 product. Our own photo module is in beta on iPad, so for printed strips on an iPad neither of us is the finished answer today.
What Is Korean Photobooth Software, and Do I Need It for 360?
It is the software behind self photo studios: a room of unattended cabins where guests pay, shoot four frames, pick a layout and leave with a printed strip. Studio Photuna is built for that flow with a DSLR and a dye sublimation printer. A 360 spinner needs none of it, because the product is a vertical video handed to the guest by QR, so 360 operators need spinner software rather than a studio suite.
