Every Photo Booth App in the World: 102 Apps Compared
Most roundups of the best software for a 360 photo booth list the same six American iPad apps. So we did the boring version instead. This is the photo booth software apps market analysis nobody publishes: an inventory of 102 photo booth apps across five continents, each one opened, with the price read on the vendor's own page on 28 August 2026. North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and Oceania.
The inventory changed what we thought we knew, and three findings are worth the read on their own. Our pick is Snap360App, and the section that recommends it comes after the findings that led there.

What We Actually Did
This is not a list of the apps that buy ads. It is a census.
Snap360App is in the census on the same terms as everybody else: platforms checked against the store listing, price read on the pricing page, business model written down. Nothing about it needed a phone call to find out.
Plans, platforms and limits on one page, with no demo call in the middle.
See Snap360App Pricing- 102 apps and platforms, one by one, from App Store and Play listings, vendor sites and local marketplaces, including products that only exist in Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Polish, French, German, Russian and Portuguese.
- Prices read at source. If the vendor publishes a number, it is here. If the pricing page returns an empty template, a 404 or a contact form, that is recorded as no published price, which tells you plenty about how they sell.
- Platforms verified from the listing, not from the marketing copy. An Android version announced on a landing page but absent from Play is recorded as unverified.
- Business model recorded separately from price: per device, per event, per session, per order, per print credit, or bundled with a machine you have to buy from them.
How We Evaluated Them
Six questions, asked of every single product. They are the questions an operator asks before a Saturday, not the ones a spec sheet answers.
Snap360App exists because of those six questions: 360 as the product, no PC to carry, no licence per device, a price you can read now, recording that survives the wifi and a trial that costs nothing.
Six questions, six answers you can verify before you pay anything.
Check It Against the Six- Is 360 the product or a mode? A spinner app that treats slow motion, ramping, overlays and vertical video as the main event behaves differently from a photo app with a 360 toggle.
- What hardware does it force you to own? A Windows laptop, a specific iPad, a Canon body, or their own machine.
- What does the second booth cost? Per device licensing is invisible until you scale, then it is the whole bill.
- Can you read the price before you install? Roughly a third of the inventory cannot be priced without a demo call.
- Does it work when the venue wifi dies? Offline recording is the single most underrated line in this category.
- Is there a real trial? Free trial, paid short term licence, or nothing at all.
Finding One: Almost Nothing Is 360-First
Of the 102 products, 23 support 360 in some form and only 10 are built 360-first. Every one of the other 13 treats the spinner as a secondary mode inside a photo booth app: Breeze Booth ships an auto spinner start on top of a stills architecture, RightBooth handles it as a video trimming module, Fiesta reaches 360 through its own Tortilla hardware at $3,499, Pixture lists it as one event format among roaming, video and glambooth.
And the 360-first ten are mostly tiny. Half of them do not publish a price at all: Vizz360, Logibooth, Neon Photo Booth 360 Event and Video Booth 360 Automatically are all 360 as the declared main product with nothing you can read before installing. Boothorama 360 is a one developer product that requires iOS 18.4 or later. If you have been searching for the best 360 booth software, or for a 360 photo booth program you can actually price, this is why the search comes up short.
Snap360App is one of the ten. It came out of the spinner itself, so slow motion, ramping and vertical output are the main screen instead of a toggle buried in a photo app, and the price is published rather than parked behind a demo.
Built around the spinner from the first version, not a photo booth with a 360 mode added later.
Get the App That Does 360Finding Two: Almost Nobody Has Real Android
Only 17 of the 102 list Android at all, and the list thins fast once you check it. Snapbar runs on Android through a browser, not an app. Dreambooth Studio has Android in beta. CyraTok declares Android on its own site with no verifiable Play listing. Honcho and KRUU App list it unverified. LKS Kiosk and Photo Booth Connected mean a kiosk build, not a tablet you can buy at any electronics shop.
The big names are simply iOS only: Simple Booth HALO, Fiesta, Curator Live, Breeze Booth on tablets. That matters because an Android tablet with the same screen size costs a fraction of a large iPad, and because in most of the world outside North America Android is what people already own. If you are looking specifically for 360 photo booth software for Android, the shortlist is those 17 minus the ones that fail the check.
Snap360App runs on Android 7 or later for the video module and on iOS 13 or later, same plan and same price on both. An operator who already owns Android tablets does not have to buy an iPad to start.
Android 7 or later and iOS 13 or later, one subscription covering both.
Try It on AndroidFinding Three: The Veteran Desktop Software Is Windows Only and Licensed Per Device
39 of the 102 run on Windows, and the established names in that group all license per device or per installation. That is fine for one booth and brutal for a fleet.
Darkroom Booth is $295 for a new Windows licence plus $95 a year of maintenance to keep updates and support, and the iPad product is a separate $29.99 a month or $299 a year. Social Booth is $299 once for two devices. Sparkbooth sells lifetime licences at $149 and $189. RightBooth is $75 ex VAT per product code, $165 for three, $189 for the multiple instance option. Breeze Booth is $49 a month or $499 a year per device on tablets, and its Windows sibling Remote Pro starts at $349 perpetual, so four spinners is roughly $2,000 a year in software before you touch Breeze Cloud or the AI credits.
Multiply any of those by the number of machines you want out on a Saturday in December and you have found the real cost of scaling.
Snap360App removes that line from the budget: no Windows machine in the van, no licence per device and no yearly maintenance to keep the updates. The fourth spinner costs the same as the first, because nothing is counted per booth.
24,99 € a month, or 19,99 € a month billed yearly, with unlimited events on every plan.
See What Four Booths CostOur Pick: Snap360App
Snap360App is the product we would pick out of this inventory today, and the three findings above are the whole argument.
What it does that the inventory says almost nobody else does: it is 360-first, it runs on iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later for the video module, events are unlimited on every plan with no per event and no per device fee, and recording works offline. PLAN PRO is 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year, which is 19,99 € a month, and $31.99 a month in USD on the web. DIAMOND PRO is 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year and adds simultaneous output to a TV, more AI frame credits, several devices and 15 GB of cloud. Buy from the web rather than the App Store, where PRO is 29,99 € and $39.99, and you pay 17 to 20 percent less for the same thing.
The photo module is at a different stage: iPad is in beta and Windows is in development. If your business is printed strips today, read the Europe and Asia sections below before you decide.
Every third party price on this page was read on the vendor's own pricing page on 28 August 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a price, we say so instead of guessing.
Every feature unlocked, watermark on the videos until you subscribe, no card required.
Start the Free TrialNorth America: The Deepest Market and the Most Expensive
34 of the 102 sit in the United States and Canada, and this is where per device subscriptions live.
Simple Booth HALO runs Core from $24 a week, $36 a month or $360 a year, up to Select at $186 a month, with AI credits at $0.10 each, and no verified 360 spinner support. Fiesta from Photobooth Supply Co is $59 a month, or $49 a month billed annually, with Pro at $119 and $99, iPadOS only, and its 360 comes through the $3,499 Tortilla machine. Curator Live is the one that prices three ways: $29, $59 and $99 per event, $69 to $249 a month, or $499 to $2,499 a year, and it positions openly for 360 spinners and roamers. Pictor is $49, $99 and $149 a month billed annually with AI tokens on top from $20 per 100. Photo Party Upload charges $0.10 per share, $30 per event day, $300 a month or $2,500 a year, and its VR360 module is a separate $750.
Next to that, Snap360App is one subscription for the whole fleet, with unlimited events and nothing charged per device or per event day. The part North American operators find hardest to believe is that the second, third and fourth tablet add nothing to the bill.
One price for every booth instead of a subscription per iPad and a fee per event.
Compare It With the iPad Apps- AI Photo Booth Pro (Activation King): $49, $79 and $149 a month, two devices included, extra licences $39 to $119 a month per device, AI credits at $0.025 with up to 55 credits per image.
- Booth.Events: $40 a month or $349 a year, AI credits at $8 per 100, extra iPads as a paid add-on.
- Flassh: free with 25 photos per event, $29 per event, or $99 a month unlimited.
- Honcho: $39, $49 and $59 a month, or $34, $42 and $50 billed annually.
- Simple Booth Classic: $59.99 once in the App Store, the cheapest serious entry point in the whole region.
- OrcaVue and CyraTok: machine makers. OrcaVue hardware runs $3,490 to $12,990 and the software is not sold separately. CyraTok gives the app away and sells 360 machines from $499 and iPad booths from $799.
Europe: Perpetual Licences, Windows Bornes and a Long Tail
24 of the 102 are European, and the pricing culture is completely different. Europe sells licences, not subscriptions, and it sells them cheap.
RightBooth is the most used Windows product in the group at $75 ex VAT per code with lifetime use and twelve months of updates. In Germany, Insta-Booth sells its Standard Edition at 179,00 €, down from 340,00 €, with a ten day version at 49,00 €, and PSPhotoBox sells a perpetual Single User Pro at 189,00 € with a corporate tier that falls to 99,00 € per install at volume. In France the model is the borne: Enjoy Selfie charges 149 € including VAT per year per booth, about 12,40 € a month, with a degressive rate from six licences, while Selfizee does not sell the software separately at all. In Poland, Fotillo prices by print credit, from 6,15 € to 78,72 € for packs of 700, 1,400 and 2,800 copies tied to one computer, and fotobudka.net.pl sells an annual licence at 399 zł net.
Snap360App sits outside that habit: nothing is tied to one computer, there are no print credit packs to top up, and the yearly plan covers every event you run. It is the same app on the tablet you already carry to the venue.
239,99 € a year, which is 19,99 € a month, with no licence attached to a single machine.
See the Yearly Price- 360 in Europe is small but real: Easy 360 is free for 15 videos and 15 photos then 39 € a month, iOS only. Boothorama 360 is free with Pro from $14.99 a month. FibiBooth360 is $20 a month for up to two Fotospin 360 units, or $49 a month bundled with the photo product. funEvent 360 is $29 a week, $79 a month or $599 a year for two devices, and several of its headline features are still Android only.
- CyberPhotoBooth prices by time in roubles: 5,000 RUB for two days, 10,000 RUB a month, 60,000 RUB a year, plus AI credits where one credit is one rouble and a generation starts at 8 RUB.
- Smiletronic: 250 € plus VAT a year for one licence, sold to business customers only.
- Free and open source exists: Photobooth Project and photobooth-app.org both cost 0 € and run on a Raspberry Pi. Neither does 360.
- KRUU App declares more than a million app users, and none of that is licensable: the app exists to sell KRUU rentals in the DACH market.
Asia: A Different Business Entirely
30 of the 102 are Asian, and this is where the inventory stopped being a list and became a finding. Asia does not compete in event spinners. It competes in fixed self-service booth shops, and its software is built to run a store, take a QR payment and print a strip.
Korea is the cultural factory behind the format. China has Himo (海马体) in studios and Fotoins (即拍) in software, the latter charging 3 to 8 percent of every order instead of a subscription. Indonesia has seven separate operator products built on QRIS payments, from Boothlab at Rp 150,000 to Rp 985,000 a month up to Luminash at Rp 5,100,000 a year. Pixture is the one with international ambition: a permanent free plan with one booth, then $25 per booth per month billed annually, and expansion into nine countries.
Not one of the thirty is 360-first. The full map, with the Korean chains, the Chinese revenue share model, the Indonesian seven and why India has no software of its own, is in photo booth apps in Asia.
That gap is what Snap360App was built into. If the plan is spinners at events rather than a shop with a printer, none of the thirty is aiming at you, and Snap360App runs on the Android tablets most of the region already buys.
360-first software on Android 7 or later and iOS 13 or later, unlimited events included.
Fill the 360 GapLatin America: Brazil Leads and Nobody Publishes a Price
The Latin American entries are real businesses with real installed bases and almost no public pricing.
ZootBooth in Brazil declares more than 400 active operators and a presence in twelve Latin American countries, and offers a 360 platform as one of four modes, but its /precos and /planos pages both returned 404 on 28 August 2026 and every sale goes through a demo and WhatsApp in Portuguese. ImaGen Booth, also Brazilian, publishes three plans by volume, a single event up to 72 hours on one device, up to 15 events a month on two iPads and up to 30 events a month on four iPads, with the amounts missing from the served HTML. SmartCabine in Argentina sells a perpetual Windows licence per PC through its own shop and Mercado Libre, with no 360 in the catalogue at all.
Selfie 360 is the exception that publishes: $199 quarterly, or a lifetime licence at $749 and $699 including one year of updates and installation on one PC, with optional update renewal at $250 a year and no refunds. It is a Windows executable built around a GoPro that expects an i7 and a GTX 1050 in the venue, and it runs landing pages in Spanish, English and Portuguese aimed at Mexico and Brazil.
Snap360App does the opposite of the regional habit. The number is on the page before you install anything, 24,99 € a month or $31.99 in USD on the web, and the free trial starts without a WhatsApp conversation first.
Public pricing in euros and dollars, no demo call needed to find out what it costs.
Read the Price Before You InstallMiddle East and Africa: No Local Vendor at All
This is the most uncomfortable result in the inventory, and the most useful. Across 102 products we found no photo booth software vendor based in the Middle East or Africa. The demand is served entirely by cheap global store apps.
360 Photo Booth Machine from Appcano LLC shows up in Egyptian, Jamaican and Gulf App Store results as the budget option for a private buyer. It runs on iOS, iPadOS, macOS on M1 or later and visionOS, sells an Unlock All Features in-app purchase at $29.99 and another at $499.99 with no public explanation, is localised into eleven languages and does not include Arabic despite being distributed in Middle East and Africa stores. 360 Photo Cam is the Android counterpart, free with advertising inside the app, visible in Israeli and Middle Eastern searches as the free alternative. Advertising inside the app during a paying client's event reads as a demo rather than a product you can sell.
If you operate in the region, you are choosing an import either way. Choose one that runs on the Android tablets you can actually buy locally.
Snap360App is an import too, but it imports onto the right hardware: Android 7 or later on the tablets sold locally, recording that keeps going when the venue drops the connection, and no advertising running inside a paying client's event.
Android and iOS on the same plan, offline recording, and unlimited events with no per device fee.
Run It on a Local TabletOceania: One Product, Sold With the Machine
Oceania contributes exactly one native product to the inventory. PhotoSnappy is Windows print software for the booths PhotoSnap builds and sells out of Perth, with no public price, no mobile app, no cloud and no 360. It is an accessory to their hardware, not something you can buy and point at a spinner you already own.
Everything else operating in Australia and New Zealand is imported: Pictor, funEvent 360, Easy 360 and the two store apps above. So an Australian operator buying 360 software in 2026 is buying from abroad no matter what, which makes the platform question, iPad or Android, the only one that really matters.
Snap360App answers that platform question with both. The same subscription runs on an iPad and on an Android tablet, so an operator in Perth or Auckland can buy whichever hardware is cheap that month and keep the software.
One plan covering iOS 13 or later and Android 7 or later, with no second licence to buy.
Answer the Platform QuestionThe Shorter Read
If 102 products is more than you need, our shortlist of the eight apps that actually matter for a 360 spinner is in best 360 photo booth software. This page is the exhaustive index behind it.
Snap360App heads that shortlist, and trying it takes less time than reading about it. Every feature is unlocked in the trial, with a watermark on the videos until you subscribe.
No card and no feature locked, just a watermark on the videos until you decide.
Skip to the Free TrialThe Five We Had Already Covered
Five names in this category had their own page here before this sweep, and they are the ones most people search for by name. They are part of the same cluster:
- LumaBooth alternative, the best known iPad booth app.
- dslrBooth alternative, the Windows standard, licensed per device.
- Snappic alternative, the marketing platform priced for agencies.
- Salsa photo booth alternative, the Photobooth Supply Co machine and the software that ships with it.
- MotorStreet 360 alternative, the spinner brand that built the category in the United States.
And if you want the two head to head reads: Snappic vs LumaBooth and Snap360 vs LumaBooth.
If you already run one of those five, another article is not the useful test. Install Snap360App beside it, shoot the same event with both and compare what the guests actually receive on their phones.
Run it next to the app you use now and judge it on a real Saturday.
Compare It YourselfHow to Choose Without Reading All 102
Four questions, in this order. They eliminate most of the inventory in about a minute, whether you are shopping for software for a 360 photo booth, for photo booth 360 software with a print pipeline, or for apps for a 360 photo booth you already own.
Snap360App answers those four the same way every time: vertical video first, the same price whether you run one booth or four, iOS and Android on one plan, and the number published before you install.
Vertical video, flat pricing for the fleet, both platforms, and a price in plain view.
See All Four Answers- Do you print? If printed strips are the product, look at the Windows group in Europe and the store software in Asia. If your product is a vertical video, a laptop is dead weight.
- How many machines next year? One booth makes per device pricing look cheap. Four makes it the largest line in your software budget.
- iPad or Android? This closes the door on most of the market before any other criterion, so answer it first.
- Can you read the price right now? If the vendor will not publish a number, assume the number is negotiable and that you are the one negotiating from the weaker side.
Who Should Not Pick Snap360App
Being useful means saying this part. If your business is a fixed self-photo shop with an unattended kiosk and a printer, an Asian booth product is a better fit and a cheaper one, and this piece is not going to argue otherwise. If you shoot on a DSLR and sell print quality on a classic booth, the Windows veterans still do that job better, and plenty of operators run a Windows product on the print booth and a tablet app on the spinner. If you need a Windows photo module today, ours is in development and you should not buy on a promise.
Snap360App is the pick when 360 is the product, when you want iOS and Android, when you want unlimited events with no per device fee, and when you want to record with the venue wifi down. The trial is free with a watermark and no card, so the honest advice is to install two and take both to a real event.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is the Best 360 Photo Booth Software in 2026?
For an event operator running spinners, our pick is Snap360App. It is one of only ten products in a 102 app inventory built 360-first, it runs on iOS and Android, and events are unlimited on every plan. If you run printed strips more than spinners, a Windows product or an iPad photo app will serve you better.
How Many Photo Booth Apps Are There in the World?
We inventoried 102 products across five continents on 28 August 2026, including software sold only in Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Polish, French, German, Russian and Portuguese. That count includes operator software, consumer apps, kiosk platforms and store chains that build their own software and never sell it.
Which Photo Booth Apps Are Actually Built for 360?
Twenty three of the 102 support 360 in some form and only ten are built 360-first. The rest treat the spinner as one mode inside a photo booth app. Half of the 360-first ten do not publish a price at all, which is why the search for the best 360 booth software so often ends in a demo call rather than a download.
Is There Good 360 Video Booth Software for Android?
Very little. Only 17 of the 102 apps list Android at all, and several of those are browser based, in beta or unverified on Google Play. Snap360App runs on Android 7 or later and iOS 13 or later for the video module, which is the main practical reason operators outside North America end up switching.
How Much Does 360 Photo Booth Software Cost?
Tablet subscriptions in North America run from about $29.99 to $119 a month per device, with per event plans between $29 and $99. European Windows licences are usually one off, from $75 to about 189 €. Snap360App is 24,99 € a month, or 239,99 € a year which is 19,99 € a month, with unlimited events and no per device fee.
Why Is Windows Photo Booth Software So Expensive to Scale?
Because it is licensed per device or per installation. Darkroom Booth is $295 for a new licence plus $95 a year of maintenance, Social Booth is $299 for two devices, RightBooth is $75 per code and $165 for three, and Breeze Booth on tablets is $499 a year per device. Four booths means four bills, every year.
Do I Need Internet at the Venue?
Not with Snap360App. Recording works offline and you share afterwards by QR, AirDrop, WhatsApp, Instagram or email. This matters more than the spec sheets suggest, because venue wifi tends to fail at exactly the moment a hundred guests walk in and all connect at once.
Can I Try the Best Software for a 360 Photo Booth Before Paying?
Yes. Snap360App unlocks every feature for free with a watermark on the videos until you subscribe, and no card is required. Across the wider inventory trials are uneven: many Windows vendors sell a short paid licence instead, from 49 € for ten days to 5,000 RUB for two days.
What Does Snap360App Cost, and Where Is the Snap 360 Price Published?
PLAN PRO is 24,99 € a month or 239,99 € a year, which works out at 19,99 € a month, and $31.99 a month in USD. DIAMOND PRO is 36,99 € a month or 359,99 € a year. The Snap360App price is on snap360app.com, and buying there rather than through the App Store, where PRO is 29,99 € and $39.99, saves 17 to 20 percent on the same licence.
Is There a Photo Booth Software Market Analysis of Every App?
This page is it. The photobooth software market is usually described from the six brands that advertise in English, so we counted instead: 102 products, five continents, ten languages of vendor site, every price read at source on 28 August 2026. The three findings that came out of it are 360-first is rare, Android is rarer, and a third of the market will not tell you a price without a call.
Which 360 Photo Booth Software Runs on an iPad?
Most of the well known ones, because iPadOS is where this category grew: LumaBooth, Snappic, Simple Booth HALO, Curator Live and Breeze Booth on tablets are all iPad software. The catch is that only a handful of them publish a 360 spinner mode. Snap360App covers iPad through its iOS 13 or later build and Android 7 or later on the same plan, so the tablet stops deciding the software.
What Is the Best Photo Booth App if I Do Not Run a 360?
Answer the print question first. If guests leave with a strip, the best photo booth software for you is in the Windows group, Darkroom Booth, Breeze, Sparkbooth or dslrBooth, or an iPad app with a print pipeline. If the output is digital, an iPad or Android app is enough and you save a laptop. Top photo booth software for one operator is often the wrong pick for four.
Do Any of the 102 Do Virtual or AR Photo Booths?
A handful. Virtual photo booth software, where guests shoot from their own phone through a browser, is a separate niche and it grew out of the 2020 remote event years. AR photo booth software mostly means face filters and background removal, which the AI features of the big apps now cover. Neither replaces a spinner: the guest is not on a rotating platform.
Which Photo Booth Software Do Event Companies Use for Events in the USA?
North America is the deepest part of the inventory and the most expensive. Photo booth software for events in the USA usually means an iPad subscription per device, from about $29.99 to $119 a month, plus per event plans at $29 to $99. Operators there scale by buying more device licences, which is why a flat plan with unlimited events reads so differently on a four booth fleet.
